Passport Information
passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied.
U.K. Tourist Visa Requirements
A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
Fully completed Visa application form.All applications should be submitted and paid for online. You will then be directed to make an appointment at one of the Application Support Centres in your area in order to submit your biometric data ( finger scans )
One recent passport size photograph
Evidence of your Immigration Status in the USA and permission to re-enter the USA after your trip. Examples are Permanent resident card, Valid U.S. visa, valid I-20 etc Please submit all original documents
Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
Employment Letter / Confirmation of Employment
If going for vacation, please include length of service and vacation dates
For tourism please submit confirmed hotel reservations, stating name, address and telephone number of the hotel, including confirmation number and/or proof of group travel participation, etc
Evidence of funds: e.g., Recent bank statement (within last 30 days), travelers cheques. (Credit card statements are not acceptable)
If you are visiting family or friends you will need:
a letter from your sponsor (the person you are visiting) explaining your relationship with them and the purpose of your visit
If your sponsor will be supporting you during your visit, or paying for the cost of the visit, you will need: pay slips, bank statements, or some othere vidence to show that they have enough money to support you

Starting June 1, 2010 the Uk consulate general requires applicants to pay priority service fee of $165.00 in addition to the online payment made for consular fees. Please go to " Worldbridge Services " to make the online payment.
Original alien registration If you do not have an alien registration card, a green card stamp in your passport, an advance parole, or a valid U . S . visa together with the valid I-94 departure record have to be provided. Students should also submit an original validated I-20 or IAP-66.
